Some Random Things About Me..

PinaywifeSpeaksI am a Filipina, a wife to a Cambodian guy and a mom to a cute little girl. For me, being a mother is the greatest right a women can have. I am a March girl. I love the color blue and purple. I have a weird affinity addiction to gadgets and things digital. ^_^

I am also into surfing the net, graphics and illustration, and I like learning things that frustrates me like CSS layouting or learning to use a tough software. I enjoy bargain shopping a lot, trying out different exotic restaurants and cuisines, and I am a keen backpack traveler.

I think Jude Law is the ultimate hunk (my husband disagrees of course but this is my blog so he can’t protest as much), with Jet Li second only to him. I have a weird way of watching TV, I channel surf obsessively and I thoroughly enjoy watching TV commercials.

I am always on a diet and a firm believer that ” a balanced diet is a chocolate chip cookie in both hands”. I am an absolute failure when it comes to sports and the only physical activities I truly excel at – speed typing on the keyboard and using the TV’s remote control. My favorite quote? “Behind every woman is a man checking out her ass.” I have no idea who said that but I like it.

I first visited Phnom Penh in 2004. Then from 2008 we have decided to make Phnom Penh our permanent home. Living in Phnom Penh has been interesting. I love the people, the culture, and the many adventures and misadventures I have,  trying to learn my way around.

This blog is constantly evolving so I can’t really pinpoint what is my exact niche. Simply put, this blog is where I write down my thoughts, where I could speak on things in life that I find interesting. Hence the blog name – Pinaywifespeaks.

My interests, lifestyle, people I meet and interact with, all these are constantly changing too, hence the almost random topics I have in this blog. It started out posting stuff about entertainment, fun things, trends and now I’m more into what I find interesting and my discoveries about Cambodia culture, blogging and internet, home and living with occasional posts about the Philippines thrown in.
