Ruby Winkle, a Girl Searching For Sleep…

I love illustrations and I’ve been trying out making vector graphics using Inkscape, Gimp etc. The first ever character I made was “kawaii” inspired, PinkSushi. It’s been awhile since I last posted any of my doodles coz I’ve been awashed with a lot of work. Once I get a little free time again, I’d want to do some illustrations again. I’m not really good at it, yet but they do say you get better at these things with a little practice…

Anyways, I usually hop online and look at different characters for inspiration. I found one interesting new character – Ruby Winkle, a young girl who tirelessly searches for sleep. Interesting, right? I wonder why she’s looking for sleep..She has a lot of cute sidekicks too, like Garble, her teddy bear, Skats, the beatnik bat, demonstrates his freestyle form of sleep and Dink, the glowworm nightlight, offers his illuminating guidance.
