Let’s have Khmer food this time. Curry with noodles? Yes, yes, yes! And it tastes really so good. Even my sister who is very picky and is not very adventurous when it comes to food, gobbled two bowls of these the first time she tasted it! This one was made by my sister-in-law hehe and of course, I got free delivery.
What’s in it? I have yet to learn how to cook this as its a bit complicated (lots of grinding, mincing, pounding=complicated on my cooking dictionary hehe) but I wanna learn how to make this. It uses fresh rich noodles or you can also eat the kari with nom pang (French baguettes). The sauce has lemon grass, turmeric, yellow ginger, garlic, lotsa peanuts, chili, meat (can be chicken, pork ribs, lean meat..), veggies.
Ohhh, of course — this is one our all-time favourite Khmer food! I love it with noodles while Rob, with nom pang. And I can make it myself, too.

That’s why I thought at first it’s Kare-kare because of the color and the peanut sauce.
just reading about the sauce makes my mouth water.:p i had Laksa last night and my taste buds are still happy at the afterglow.:p
