A few days ago, my daughter has been bugging me about making some balloon art. A friend of hers gave her a balloon shaped liked a butterfly and she’s asking how it was done.
We ended up searching the net for the how to’s for some future balloon art project we could get our hands on during weekends. While doing searches on photos of balloon art, we came upon this beautiful balloon creations in the form of wearable art!
Balloon fashion is created by twisting latex, air and color. Just imagine the time, patience and creativity that went with each masterpiece? I imagine it can be a bit tiring for the models though..Do they just stand up the whole time? What if they need to sit down? That might pop the balloons. Lol!
I was so fascinated that I dug up this video on how it is made.Check out this balloon fashion site for more.

That sure looks ‘supercool’
These dresses would have taken a lot of efforts and I don’t think they can be ‘worn’ in public without getting damaged !

hi jeet, yeah i know what you mean. i wouldn’t want to have my dress pop out on me when i’m on public. still, i’m amazed by the creativity of the designers
I liked the queen of hearts and the Madonna ones. The butterfly looks very colorful. I’m amazed what a few balloons can become when adding some creativity.
Watch out for the needles!!
