It’s been a while since I’ve posted about American Idol 7. I’ve been busy with a lot of things but that doesn’t mean I had been cured of my American Idol addiction. 
Initially I was rooting for Ramiele Malubay and David Archuleta for the big win. Well, we’ve said goodbye already to Ramielle several weeks ago and I still find David A. cute, with good singing voice and have star quality, but for the past few weeks I’ve been getting more and more convinced David Cook will win.
Why? I simply can stop listening to his music. Among the contestants, he’s the only one who can make me stare and listen with my mouth hanging open. He’s awesome coz he turns each song into his own. He definitely puts a David Cook stamp on whatever he sings!
I started going crazy for David Cook since I saw him perform Billie Jean. It was simply awesome! Here’s the video clip..

I rarely cry when I watch shows, even movies but his version of Mariah Carey’s Always Be My Baby was just so heartfelt I felt like crying! Darn it..Check out the video. I know I’ve listened to this for the nth time already but I can help listening to it again and again..
I agree! I love David Cook and while the others have amazing talent as well, David has the “it” factor! I hope he wins!
I too love David Cook! I liked David A when he sang Imagine… but now it seems like everything he sings sounds the same. He has an amazing voice, and will have a great career, but I don’t want him to win.
I’ve listed to the David Cook version of Billy Jean over and over. It’s amazing what he did with that!
i’ve only heard of david cook’s version of always be my baby over the radio this afternoon, and i was really wowed.
i love it too, and i especially liked his voice. i haven’t been able to follow AI lately so this really came as a surprise.
