Toilet Dining – Warning! Not for the Squeamish..
I’ve been blog hopping again when I dropped by Claudine143’s blog site. Guess what I found something interesting there, so interesting and for me its bordering on amazing! Some might find it disgusting but I am again fascinated by another trend and culture..
There is a new restaurant trend now mushrooming in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. The concept? Toilet Dining! The restaurant has decked its interior with toilet bowls standing in for chairs and a sink below the tables. And it doesn’t end there, the food is served in miniature toilet bowls!
I did say in my post title that this is not for the squeamish.. If you’re prone to nausea, or if you can’t stop your brain from being overactive and imagining all sorts of things that should be done on a toilet, then this concept restaurant isn’t for you..
As for me, I’d probably try it out, just to see if I could really swallow the food hmm.. Who knows the food might be yummy.. LOl!

One of my friends dined in one of those “toilet restos” in Taiwan. The food was pretty good and it was quite an experience. Of course, you do have to be open minded about it.

Wow! I envy your friend.. its not an experience you can have easily.. Glad to know the food is good.. This has become one of my must-do when I get to visit China or Taiwan..
Not sure I could do this… I don’t get queezie easily, but I couldn’t get past the visual. Funny though.

I have never heard of this before but definitely would be an interesting dining experience!
Origina and very creative–that’s my opinion about this restaurant when it was featured in on of the local shows in the Philippines. I would love to experience dining there.

In Singapore, there is also a pub where the seats are wheelchairs, and you can drink via the drip hehe.. Hmm, I don’t think I want to eat from the “toilet bowl” LOL!
