I think I’ve read more than enough of diet books, health and fitness articles, even weight loss pill enough to last me a life time. I love myself, that’s why I am constantly looking for information on how I could be healthy and be fit.
I now realize though that being healthy and fit really just require eating the right foods and being on the move. People who are on the other side of the weighing scale would most probably try to lose weight for health reasons others purely for vanity. Whatever the reason, it requires a lot of determination and patience to shed off the extra pounds.
It’s never too late to start being healthy and fit. The best approach I now believe is by preventing putting on extra pounds coz preventing is definitely better than losing weight. Experts have found that those who are planning to lose weight usually stray from the plan
just like me. I usually tend to go back to my poor eating habits and sedentary lifestyle once I reached the weight loss plateau.
Preventing excessive weight gain can simply be done with eating healthy and doing regular exercise. This can be called losing or maintaining weight the natural weight. People usually have the idea of how to eat right and healthy, but we usually succumb to temptations.
One great tip I’ve learned and have been practicing the past two months and I’m seeing great result is: When you feel the urge for food coming on, snacking on something healthy such as a slice of whole-grain toasted bread is a better alternative. Never skip a meal and eat snacks instead because that is the worst thing you can do if you are trying to control your eating habits and weight.
Losing weight naturally is a process and not a fad. So, it would take a lot of determination, self-control, and discipline just to achieve your targeted weight.
