I Have No Gray Hair’s… Yet!

I almost fear gray hairs as much as I fear wrinkles.. That’s the vain side of me talking but really, a few times each week I would check out my hair if I have signs of greying hair already. Geez! I’m almost thirty and it won’t be long before I would be hair coloring just to camouflage my grey hairs. There’s nothing really wrong with having grey hair but perhaps I have yet to accept that I am growing old, errr maturing..

When my mom started to have grey parts on her hair she started to have it colored and would always be on the lookout for hair color ideas. Initially she would go to professionals to have hair highlights since the gray’s are just little and didn’t really show much. But it could really cost a lot too if you’re going to have it done regularly. Now that her gray/white hair has almost taken over what used to be her jet black hair, she prefers to do hair coloring at home. She has even managed to train our helpers to master the art of hair coloring so she could have it whenever she wants.

My dad was a different case. When his hair was already greying, he just let it be and now everything is all white. He say’s that way he is more visible to other and he likes pretending he was born to be with “blond” hair.

As for me, well I do color my hair now occasionally, but for fashion and vanity reasons than to cover up gray hairs. I don’t know how to apply it myself so I am used to having it done by professionals.
