Yesterday was my sister, Ouwie’s birthday. This is the second time she had her birthday in Phnom Penh. At first we planned on just eating out as we were both feeling lazy. But then again most of our birthdays, we usually cook at home, enjoy some quiet time and wine. Were both not into parties, you see.

In the end, we decided to cook food at home and share it with our neighbor and the kids. Though there weren’t any invitees we still ended up preparing a lot of food. I guess my goal of getting rid of belly fat is on precarious level. It’s really in danger of going haywire lol! I made creme caramel for dessert. Actually most of the creme caramel went to the nephews and nieces as they really love it. The leftovers were the birthday dessert.

Also made shrimp and meatballs spaghetti, I also marinated pork ribs and grilled it which was just perfect with red wine. It was a lazy, burp-lilcious day. And to Ouwie, cheers to your birthday!! And my birthday wish for her? For her to get married and give us some tots to spoil and Chinkee to have cousins to play with. Ha! Talk about pressure. Not much.

And oh, I took photos of the food, but I’ll share that on Friday for FTF.. I’m just too lazy to transfer it from the camera.
