Just Random Musings on Health and Medical Care

I’ve been chatting with a high school friend a couple of days ago, reminiscing about those carefree high school days, and talking about our current lives and also what is going on with society right now. We’re both moms now and we agreed that yes, our first priorities are our families and our children in particular.

As moms, what we fear most is our children becoming ill. I realized that times now are different, even the types of diseases are weird. With the recent pandemic about the h1n1 flu, I won’t be surprised if other such illnesses would come out in the future. My friend mentioned that before she was a sceptic about insurances but now she understands how important having a good insurance coverage for those uncertain times. She’s now scouting for a cheap health insurance but with good features to cover her family’s needs.

Having an adequate medical and health insurance is really necessary in this times. You’ll never know when you’re gonna get sick and with the increasing costs of medical care, well it pays to be secure and insured.
