My itch to buy new gadgets have been on dormant mode for some time already. And to think that any digital gadget junkie would just freak out with the hordes of gadgetry like iPad’s, tablet PC’s, all in one home entertainment and computer systems, mobile phones, and 3D stuff being launched by tech companies. But for some reason the past two years I’ve been pretty much oblivious to the desire to get myself a new gadget except for a netbook which I need for blogging {which I bought but Hi-ace sequestered it..} and a digital camera which I am still amazingly holding out on.
Yeah, I do find those new techno stuff really cool and awesome, but I still couldn’t muster a desire to save like mad and aim for a tablet PC at like an iPad. And for me that is something short of amazing coz a few years ago, I was gadget crazed and I changed mobile phones almost every six months.
Weird, weird for me lol! But right now I’m still ecstatically happy with my purple Sony Ericsson phone. Maybe because it’s purple or maybe my age is catching up on me and I don’t really pay attention now to tech trends?
But how come I’m musing about this? Well, Hi-ace asked me to do some search for ipad accessories. I think he’s itching to buy one but I dunno but I found myself dissuading him. I think he should just buy another laptop {which is cheaper anyway} and give me back the netbook hahaha..
On the other hand, the ‘buy the latest gadget’ complex is hounding Hi-ace like mad and he has seriously gone shopping crazy in Amazon. He told me he just bought a Fujifilm S1800 camera simply because the zoom was amazing. We’ll, if that makes him happy.. As for me, I think I’ll hold on to my purple phone and my old Sony cybershot for a little more time. Unless some new ones with a better ‘purple’ look comes along.. kekeke..
