Last Saturday was my sister’s graduation from UPOU Los Banos Laguna and after the ceremony we decided to go to Tagaytay for dinner. Why we picked Tagaytay? Mostly for ambiance and after a few days of hot weather in Manila we were longing for someplace cool. We settled on Leslie’s for the ambiance and we wanted some Pinoy food.
It was drizzling so weren’t able to get the huts overlooking Taal Lake and it’s really a pity, the view would had been fantastic. Anyway, I love the facade, they have a hanging bridge and a short stair going down..
And once you’re down the stairs, here’s the front of the restaurant with two small ponds with lots of koi fish swimming..
I was thoroughly fascinated with the faucet in their bathroom..
but they made it more convenient, instead of actually pumping the “well” they had a faucet built into it..
Now moving on to the food..Leslie’s menu includes mostly Filipino food and they also have group meals for 5, 10 or more persons. Prices are reasonable considering that their servings are really big and yummy. We had a group meal for 10 persons (P5000+, +service charge). Set includes their special bulalo, pinaputok na plapla, sugpo with aligue, pork sisig, chicken barbeque, rice, leche flan and softdrinks. All are on 2 servings per viand. So if you are with a large group and you want big servings, Leslie’s is a good and affordable choice.

sa totoo lang, the food is superb, the ambience is great, pero yung mga waiters sobrang arrogant, hindi cla ganun ka accomodating, maybe we are just 2 by that time, akala cguro nila can’t afford kami at hindi nagbibigay ng tip..y should we eh my 10% service charge na nga sila…basta namimili cla ng bibigyan ng magandang service…This is based on our experience last sat nyte, jan 10, 2009 at leslie’s tagaytay…palitan nio mga crews nio! or better tell them n ayusin nila ang service nila…..kasi kahit masarap yung food nila nasisira yung reputation nila..
hi denise, so sad you had a bad experience. actually when we went there I didn’t notice much of their service coz we were really gutom plus the weather was so bad so we were kinda in a hurry..
hope they would improve their service.
